Regarding the reason why the fire has not been extinguished, the local fire department explained that during the fire fighting process on the 20th, it was discovered that when the team members were preparing to approach the fire point on the 4th floor, they were exposed to smoke and skin was irritated. Therefore, the fire extinguishing operation was temporarily suspended. However, Asahi Kasei emphasized that the burning plant is an IC manufacturing plant, and there are no hazardous materials harmful to humans.
